12/08/2020 Ritual abuse and mind control

I have read this book. Its author, Alexandre Lebreton has done an incredible job of historical research on sects and the use of "mind control" on young victims by them.

His book is interesting to read, well documented, and full of quotes, links and sources. Chapter 5 of his book entitled "Fractionated Personality and Amnesia" explains DID and the sources it cites are very interesting!

I also watched his youtube channels but quickly saturated.

I do not put this book in the "resources" section because several things bother me:

  • He refers to Mind-Kontrol all the time to explain why people have dissociation. Here is a link explaining what the "MK Ultra project is: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Projet_MK-Ultra and is based only on this theory and this explanation.

For example in this video:

He ends the video by showing the butterflies that Jeni Haynes wears as "proof" that she is a victim of MK Monarch mind control or, Jeni Haynes only spoke of one attacker, her father, she did not know. not said to have been the victim of a Satanist group or sexual violence or rituals. And under the pretext that she wears butterflies on her clothes, she would be "mentally controlled" and victim of "MK control" ...

He has a very "virgin mary", "catholic", "reestablishing a healthy spirituality" side that bothers me in some of his videos or in his book. And even speaks of "other dimensions", of "demonic possession", of "paranormal psychic faculties". These explanatory aspects disturb me and make me uncomfortable.

And I find it unfortunate that he has documented so much on Satanist violence and Satanist rituals but that he seems to have understood very little what dissociation and DID really are.

I have the impression that he always brings everything back to "mind control" without taking into account the fact that any dissociated person has a "phobia of his dissociative parts" and a "phobia of traumatic memories", a "phobia of l 'internal experience' ...

I also have the impression that he thinks that the dissociative parts are all created by the aggressor, in a conscious and intended way. And that this one "controls" them. Now I am convinced that even if these groups have some form of knowledge of how to create dissociation, they do not control everything. Alexandre Lebreton does not speak of our "observer" parties or our "control" parties. I am convinced that even if an aggressor has a form of "knowledge" allowing him by torture to "create" an alter in his victim, he does not realize that dozens of other alters will form without his knowledge. without his understanding it in order to escape the aggressor, save the victim and protect her.

In his book, he devotes a chapter on "deprogramming protocols", he wrote his book in 2016. I find it unfortunate that he only addresses "Fabian therapy" as healing therapy and that he did not quote the book "the haunted self" by Van Der Hart, Boon and Steel which was published in 2008. He proposes to heal with "prayers of deliverance, exorcism or the help of a shaman" (p. 506-507 of his book).

His youtube channels are interesting because he is one of the few to take over the international press and relay information about dissociated people or testimonies from cult survivors. He translates into French reports or programs dealing with these subjects but his explanations or his conclusions are always the same: MK, MK, MK ... And I find that this discredits him in the eyes of the general public.

His book is interesting to read because it is very sourced and is one of the few books in French speaking about sects and addressing the subject of the rituals that certain victims undergo. However, I think he is too biased and not impartial enough. For me, DID is created by the brain for saving and survival against abuse and horror. We are constantly trying to find a solution to get out of this horror.

I don't like his vision of DID which portrays us as puppets and robots. I believe it is quite the opposite. Of course, I obeyed orders and was forced to do things under threat, but I always sought and worked to escape my tormentors and I always tried to find help relentlessly! If I take stock and look at my actions and my life, everything has been done in order to remember and denounce, free myself ... All my actions, what each of my parts carries as a role of protection and safeguard has a logic, a very clear reason and which when I observe it in a global way works in one and the same goal: to be safe, fulfilled, liberated, in security.

I am still afraid to testify with my face uncovered, but it makes perfect sense given how victims are received by the police, the courts and society. I still have amnesia, everything is not yet clear but it makes sense! If I knew and understood all of a sudden it would be excruciating for me! I face what I have experienced gradually to the extent of what I can bear without collapsing and being overwhelmed by horror and despair ...

His "paranormal" explanations of derealization and depersonalization displease me when they have a very simple and logical, scientific explanation.

And DID can be cured without resorting to that shaman bullshit, prayers, and exorcisms. Why always bring everything back to the paranormal or to religion? For me, this undermines our credibility and our support. And I find that damaging!
